Banana Smoothie

Zero Weight Watchers PointsPlus

Zero Weight Watchers PointsPlus

That’s right, Zero Weight Watchers PointsPlus and Zero Calories for ME!!! This is one of my Favorites, so refreshing :)

And this is a super easy smoothie to make-
and with just 2 ingredients:

2-Bananas (Slice and Freeze, this will substitute for your ice, Genius)
    1-Can of Diet Cream Soda

*Place your frozen banana slices into your blender.
*Add half of the can of diet cream soda, then slowly pour in the rest.
-Depending on the size of your bananas, you might not need the entire can.
*Mix until smooth, drink, and Enjoy!

*Reminder Tip: FREEZE your bananas overnight or until frozen solid. The bananas will take the place of ice; and this way your Smoothie won’t have that ‘watered down’ taste towards the end, just yummy banana.
*Also, depending on the ripeness of the bananas you use, you may need to add some sweetener.

As with all of my low-calorie and zero-calorie drinks; In my Diet Plan I do not count the calories in fresh fruits and veggies- so this ones a Freebie for me!

Paint Palette

Inspired by Martha Stewart’s Paint Palette
(her color selections 1-13 can be mixed-and-matched in any way together and look great.)
Operation ‘Upstairs Big Wall’ will be going into effect probably Spring/Summer 2013. Now, I couldn’t find the exact color matches at our local Home Depot so we got as close as we could get, with the exception of the ‘Punch’ color, we wanted something a little more bold and a little less pastel. Our color choices, as seen above, are as follows:

Citrus Blast (MS#7 close match): Top half of the Big Wall- shared long wall with living room and dining room.
Boise Silver (MS#6 close match): The chair-rail will continue down the entire length of the wall.
Deep Royal (MS#12 close match): Our small wall in the kitchen opposite the ‘Big Wall’ will be in this darker blue to offset all the bright.

December 17th: Gift under the tree…

Just like everyone else, this is a busy time of year (as you can see I haven’t posted anything in about 2-weeks.) While getting Christmas in order here, my husband was quite sneaky and was the first one to place a wrapped present under the tree…

To my surprise this is what I found, too funny not to take a picture. And yes, that is permanent marker folks!

December 6th 2012: Sugar Scrubs

It’s time for Sugar Scrubs!

Sometimes body gels and bathing soaps just aren’t enough to remove the excess oils and dead skin cells left behind after showering. S&L Scrubs contain sugar, which acts as an abrasive and paired with 1-or-more oils (almond, avocado, coconut, jojoba, olive, vegetable, or fruit oils) to thoroughly cleanse, exfoliate, and moisten your skin. We also add small amounts of our S&L Soaps (gentle, soft and sensitive) to help create a fragrant lather of exfoliating sugar scrubs which will leave your skin feeling refreshed while looking amazing.
