August 4th 2012: Orange Dream Slushy Zero-Calorie Recipe

Here’s another great Zero-Calorie Slushy Recipe:

So this morning it finally rained here, but now it’s so humid and the temperature is quickly rising. I wanted to make a cool refreshing drink with lunch. We just bought some bananas so I searched for a liquid- I grabbed a Diet Orange Crush and blended away, Enjoy!

Step 1: You will need-
1 Can of Diet Orange Crush
1 Banana (large or maybe try 2 smaller ones.)
2 Cups of Ice (or 14 cubes from ice tray.)
And a girls best friend- a Blender!

Step 2:
Put all of the ingrediants into the Blender and mix away.

Step 3:
Pour, Serve, and Enjoy!
*Remember this is z Zero Calorie Drink :)

Try these other Favorites too:

    Zero Calorie Strawberry Banana Slushy
    Pineapple Amaretto Smoothie
    Lo-Calorie Chilled Vanilla Coffee

*Please note that in my diet plan I do not count calories from fresh fruits/veggies -if you do then you will need to figure them in.

To be clear, I do know that bananas have calories -however in my diet plan I do not count calories from fresh fruits/veggies, which I have explained on other posts.
This is a very tasty treat and a great way to include a fruit into a meal, especially for kids :)
And it’s Zero Weight Watcher Plus Points!
*Also, I have edited out your name calling because it’s simply not needed or welcomed.

Why do people think it is ok to be rude? If u would have read the post u would have known that she doesnt count calories from fresh fruits and veggies. If u didnt like the post just dont read her blogs anymore. By the way i have tried a few of ur slushies and they are delicious and save me from the ice cream villian :-)

Hello there! I also don’t count fresh fruits and vegetables either. Why count something that’s good for you? And it has never held me back from diet goals! Thank you for sharing your yummy recipes. (:

Kim you are very welcome and thank you so much for checking out my recipes! Also, another fan commented on the Strawberry-Banana Slushy that they had tried pineapple chucks with Ginger-ale and it was fabulous, I will be trying that one out myself soon.

Is the banana taste really pungent? I’m not a banana fan but need something like this! Just started WW this week.

    • Stilettos.And.Legos

It has a nice flavor, the diet-orange soda does take over the banana taste a little. You could always use a smaller banana or even substitute it out for strawberries and do an orange-strawberry slush.

    Amazing thanks for the recipe!

found you on pinterest, from your strawberry-banana slushie post. still don’t like bananas, but an orange-strawberry slushie sounds delish! now to buy some orange pop. :)

I’d never thought of using pop in a slushie before…but then, we only starting making smoothies this past summer…pinning this recipe too! :)

thank you, also, for your very polite, and calm, responses to negative comments.

Thank you for checking out my site and slushy recipes, mixing the sodas with different fruits is really refreshing and a great treat!
When I started this site I didn’t think that people would take the time to complain or be negative, oh well ;) Thank you for your nice words and I’ll keep posting slushies as I go :)

  7. Hello,

    I love the slushy ideas.

Do you freeze the bananas in their peel? Or do you peel the bananas before freezing them?

    Thanks,
    Allison
