Here’s the before and after, yum!
It is so hard trying to make an ‘old- fashion’ meat and potatoes dinner these days. A kindergartner, a crawler, work, a house to keep up -you know mom stuff. And sooner rather than later it’s dinner time, crap! This is a super easy way to get it done with little prep, little mess, and is really yummy, everyone loves it -definitely a favorite at our house!
*You will need a 9×13 pan (try to use one that has a lid because if there are left-overs then you just pop that top on and refrigerate).
Fresh boneless skinless chicken breasts (we use 3).
1-lb of carrots.
3-4 red or new potatoes.
1 packet of Italian dressing mix.
Butter.
Step 1: I like to marinade my chicken (Click Here to view my easy marinade hint). So I cut my chicken breasts into chunky size and marinade them over night. You can skip the marinade if you want and just go straight to the cutting of the chicken.
Step 2: Skin your carrots and cut them into big bite size bits, do the same with your potatoes also.
Step 3: Place your veggies and chicken into your pan.
Step 4: Sprinkle your Italian dressing mix and blop a few tablespoons of butter (I did 8 butter blops) throughout my Dinner All-in-One.
Step 5: Cover with foil and bake at 350′degrees for 45 minutes. -I have a convection over and mine takes 45 minutes however when my mom made this in her regular over it took closer to an hour. So give that chicken a check at 45 minutes and adjust your time from there
*That’s it! Cut, blop, bake, and enjoy your new easy old fashion Chicken Dinner All-in-One.
