August 14th 2012: Easy Marinade Idea

Lime-A-Rita Marinade

I do not like, and I mean -absolutely do not like to touch raw chicken and meats. Getting bits and juice under my nails or on my rings is just gross to me. So I figured out a totally simple way to keep my hands clean. Here are my step-by-step instructions with a handy tip:

>>>Use a can of ‘Lime-A-Rita’ as a fun citrus/beer marinade -super yum!

Step 1: You will need a tall cup and a zip-lock bag.
Step 2: Place the zip-lock bag inside the cup and flip the zip part around the edge -as seen in the second picture.
Step 3: Pour in your marinade.
Step 4: Add your chopped up chicken, pork, beef, or whatever into your marinade bag and put it into refrigerator.
Step 5: Take out your marinade, put your yummy bits into where you will be cooking and enjoy!
>>>I use half of my Lime-A-Rita per bag with 1 chopped chicken breast. So total my family will do 2 Marinade Baggies with 1 can of Lime-A-Rita.
>>>Also, you could use a larger zip-lock bag with a mixing bowl if you wanted to marinade, we just use the smaller ones because it’s what we have handy and only need a small amount of chicken. But for a party, I would definitely bump up to a larger size!
