So I’ve always just gone with ‘Cupcakes are not diet food!’
My regular cupcakes are about 350 calories each, and are freaking delicious! However, I do try to watch my calorie intake and right now I’m in wedding prep mode. There’s a week to go and my bridesmaid dress really wants me to fit into it
I’ve been hearing about the Weight Watchers Soda Cake: 1 box of cake mix and diet soda. Well I don’t like to follow directions so I made up my own recipe and this is what I came up with!
These are the ingredients needed:
1 box of pineapple cake mix
1 can of diet cream soda
2 bananas (mashed up)
I mixed the cake mix and diet cream soda. Then added the already mashed up bananas.
My mix made 24 cupcakes and I baked them at 350′ for about 18 minutes.
By following my recipe each cupcake comes to only 85 calories. (The mix is 2040 then divided by 24 cupcakes totaling 85!)
This is perfect! I can grab one as a healthy snack on the go in the morning or for an afternoon snack and not feel guilty. I added a small blop of whipped cream (only 20 calories) so – 100 calories of yum!
