What a Hit!
If you are looking for a simply delicious, cheap dinner -this is it. Total cost $10 and I half-ed it so we can do it again later in the week! My husband had a late meeting which worked out perfect because he doesn’t like rice -so win for me and the kids.
I made this dinner with my daughter who got to help stir, spread, and sprinkle; and was ever so pleased with herself when we sat down to dinner. She took a bite a said, ‘Mom I must be a great stirrer because this is good.’
And she was right!
Here’s what you will need:
9×13 baking pan
2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
-use 1 can of Water
2 packets of Onion Soup/Dip Mix
2 Cups Instant Rice
Step 1: Mix you Cream of Soups, 1-can of water, Instant Rice, and 1 packet of Onion Soup/Dip Mix together in a mixing bowl.
Step 2: Spread you Creamy Rice Mix into your Greased 9×13 baking pan.
Step 3: Cut your Chicken into chunk size and add to your 9×13 baking pan. Then sprinkle with the other Onion Soup Mix.
Step 4: Cover with Foil and Bake at 350’degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
Step 5: Uncover and Serve, Enjoy!
