Above is my most recent picture of My Savings while out shopping, today’s visit- Kohl’s. No, I’m not a a crazy coupon lady or a stockpile/hoarder, I just like getting the most bang for my buck.
By combining my Kohl’s Card, Kohl’s Cash, and some savvy and thorough checking in the Clearance rack after Christmas, what would have cost me $74- turned into ZERO! And Kohl’s wasn’t the only store were I received some awesome end of the year good-bye 2012 savings!

Our new Accent Rug, Finally!
After looking over accent rugs for years with my husband and never finding one that we both liked, or that wasn’t ridiculously over priced-
I found one! It’s an ACCENTuate Weathered Blocks 52″ by 78″ at
Garden Ridge for… $29.99
*And I also got a matching entryway rug for $4.99.
Our living room is now complete at an affordable price and looks amazing. This accent rug works perfect, it blends right in and pulls the merlot and Earthy colors from our sheers draped from our front window, matches with our artwork (not shown in this picture) and our throw pillows completely, so excited!
(The kids love it, our 5 y/o has been sitting/laying on it watching tv and our littlest guy can now crawl and roll around without bonking his head on the hardwood!)
While playing around online I saw these really cute bracelets, which would have been great except they were $28 and I’m not going to spend that much on bracelets for myself. So I started hunting for equal prettiness for a lesser price.
Then the other day I was browsing around Michael’s Craft Store and bumped right on into a display of Bangle Bracelets in every color imaginable- for only $3/set. So I got the Black/Silver and the Brown/Tan/Cream (pictured below). Between the two they go with everything and are super cute!
