To Hobby Lobby I went, to purchase some Wreath Swag, lol:
Last year, June 2013-Click Here, I did a post about car vent clips and how I also use them inside my home. WELL!!! Febreze came out with car clips too, and they are AWESOME!!!
First, I purchased the Aloha Hawaiian. Oh and did it work, it worked so well that I had too remove it my car and take a little break from Hawaii. It was too flowery/perfumey for me. So I just put that puppy in the bathroom vent and voilà. My bathroom smells pretty good for a bathroom.
I then needed a replacement for my driving-mobile, this time I went with Greek Seaside. This is more my style, it just smells clean. And these little guys last for definitely 30 days as advertised. There are 3 settings, Setting #1 is ENOUGH! They are a new Rave and Favorite :) They range in price, $3.50-$4.85, but Target had them on sale for $3.00, very good deal and they do work better than the clips I’ve used in the past.
WhatsUpMoms is probably my favorite YouTube channel right now, this is their latest video. Oh yes, here come the HOLIDAYS!!!
The Holderness Family has done it again. With Christmas Jammies, Back to School, and now It’s All About the Baste, lol!!!
About 2 weeks ago, I was looking through the Christmas section at Home Decor, which is right next to the Halloween section ;) I saw a pipe cleaner garland decoration, it was so stinking cute! Until I saw the price- $11.98 for a 6ft section of pipe cleaners, NOPE!
I went across the street to Hobby Lobby, bought 3 packs of pipe cleaners each 87¢ = just under $3.00 I recruited my 7y/o, broke some child labor laws, and created a 16ft. crafting project. The Garland project took her a total of about 3 hours, broken up into two weekends, and she is SO happy! She has decided that she’s making another for Christmas for the Tree :D
I totally recommend this project, you can do whatever colors for whatever holiday or celebration! If you can’t tell from the picture, you will need to CUT the pipe cleaners in half. BEND them into a circle. TWIST the ends together. LINK you next pipe cleaner to create a CHAIN. EASY-PEASY!!!
This is the ONLY way to enjoy salsa, with fresh tomatoes!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 7 Roma Tomatoes
- 1 packet of Mrs. Wages Classic Salsa Mix
- Fodd Processor, Cutting Board, & Knife
Cut your tomatoes.
Scoop out as many seeds as you can to prevent watery salsa.
Chop up a tomato at a time in Processor.
Add seasoning mix and stir.
Let refrigerate about 20 minutes, then enjoy!
*I also like to add a few drops of lime juice sometimes too!
This tastes amazing and is the same cost as bottled salsa-
Roma Tomatoes… $1.28
This is by far the better option!!!
I have been wanting to do a Fav’s List for a while, so we go…
Summer 2014 Favorite #1:
Diet Stewart’s Orange n Cream Soda, it HAS to be the diet! I am basing this solely on taste alone. There is just something about how the diet tastes, like a liquid Dreamcicle, AMAZING!!!
Summer 2014 Favorite #2:
Sabra Hummus – Sun Dried Tomato, this blend is by far my go to choice and it’s hard to find here in St. Louis. Snacks, in place of mayo, to dip; just a nice summer flavor option.
Summer 2014 Favorite #3: Subscribe to her channel here!!!
Kandee Johnson, one of my favorite people to follow on YouTube! Her video’s always put me in a happier mood. She’s always so positive and her tips/tricks are very helpful.
Summer 2014 Favorite #4:
ELF Cosmetics (eyes lips face), they sell smaller sized portions of your everyday needs. I don’t wear makeup a lot, I mostly work from home, but when I do this is my go to brand ;)
Summer 2014 Favorite #5:
